Jodene Baker

Jodene Baker is vice president of research, advocacy, and external relations at Imagine Canada, where she leads national research and policy initiatives focused on strengthening the charitable and non-profit sector. She has spent her career working across the non-profit and post-secondary sectors, bringing a strategic lens to how research and evidence shape organizational direction and public policy. Her work is grounded in advancing evidence-informed public policy, long-term sector sustainability, and the power of collaboration and collective action as drivers of meaningful, lasting change. She is committed to translating research for public audiences and contributing to informed, constructive debate about the role of charities and non-profits in Canada. Jodene currently serves as a director on the boards of Crohn’s and Colitis Canada and the Japanese Cultural Association of Manitoba.
